The Obion County Board of Education will meet in regular session April 9, 2012 at South Fulton Middle/High School at 7:00 p.m. Prior to the meeting, the school will provide a meal beginning at 6:00 p.m.

At the beginning of the meeting, we will recognize our Teachers of the Year and present awards to each. In addition, Ms. Chastity Homra will recognize the schools that participated in the Pennies for Patients fundraiser.

TCAP testing will take place April 30, 2012 through May 4, 2012. High School AYP EOC exams will take place May 1, 2012 through May 3, 2012.

Background Information:

The consent agenda consists of the monthly personnel report, report of substitute teachers, and the monthly financial reports/business activity.

In addition, as of 01/30/2012 the following item(s) has/have been removed from the technology inventory system and taken to the Obion County Recycling Center:

(137) computers
(197) monitors
(13) printer
(3) projectors

All of the above equipment was in non-working condition and/or of no value to the System due to usage and age. Additional surplus vocational equipment was removed from inventory in an effort to correct the online inventory based on records kept separately by vocational administration. A document describing the equipment is attached.
